As an ex-performer having worked in both live and recorded arts industries for 30 years, I put my body through a huge amount of physical and emotional strain - not only because of the high-stress environment performing brings but with the endless travelling international touring entails.
It always amazed me how much better I felt when an intuitive, skilled therapist was able to work with me to alleviate my pain and fear around injury and physical issues and how much better that in turn made me feel emotionally and mentally - ultimately leading to a happier life and more productive training and performance output. This is what led me to want to help others in the same way.
I trained at the prestigious LSSM and continued ongoing development with Movement Therapy Education in Birmingham, Neurotour's fellowship and Paul Coker in Cornwall who are at the forefront of evidence-based manual therapy. It is of utmost importance to me that my approach has integrity, honesty and that the treatment I offer my clients is in line with up to date research and knowledge from a wide variety of sources. My practice covers a broad range of issues, from injury assessment and rehabilitation, general aches and pains as well as nerve and movement based issues. I also work with an extensive number of specialists across London if referral is deemed necessary.
I love working with a diverse range of clients ranging from West End performers to business executives and people who don't enjoy the gym and just want to feel better - helping them reduce pain and keep their body and mind happy. My approach focusses on bespoke treatment for each and every person who walks through my door - taking time to listen, understand and ensure your worries are eased and your issues dealt with professionally and sensitively.
Aside from my private clinic, I have been a consultant therapist at Neurotour UK Ltd. for the past two years, treating on over 30 West End productions as well as UK and European tours. NEURO TOUR Physical Therapy is the global leader in entertainment and performing arts medicine. Our mission is to provide and encourage holistic and organic alternatives, fusing Eastern and Western philosophies to promote a healthy lifestyle and minimize injury.
Amongst these shows, I was especially privileged to be the full-time resident therapist on Punchdrunk's Burnt City, RSC's My Neighbour Totoro, The National Theatre's Ocean at the end of the lane, Dirty Dancing UK Tour and MJ: The Musical. I'm very pleased to be returning as the resident therapist on the RSC's My Neighbour Totoro for their West End transfer later this year

I am proud to support the DCD (Dancer's career development) who has consistently supported ex-dancers in their career transitions nd was instrumental in helping me transition from being a performer to therapist. I am pleased to offer my time and skills to their ongoing projects in aiding dancers within the performing arts community.
DCD is the charity that’s here for all dancers when they need it most – from every dance genre, every background, across the UK and at every career stage. They support dancers through personal and professional change – breaking down barriers to career progression and sustainability through retraining grants, workshops, coaching and mentoring.
